LoveRouteRdam
LoveRouteRdam is a playful dating app concept designed to connect single expats (ages 18-35) through art and exploration in Rotterdam. Created with my partner Miruna, our interface invites users to discover BKOR's art collection via a curated “Love Route”, featuring artworks centered on love. Inspired by amongst others, the Flash Invader app and Stedelijk Museum's Heart tour, LoveRouteRdam blends nostalgia, pixel art, and board-game interactivity to spark connections and city discovery.
Our process began with brainstorming and research on expats’ interests, including meaningful connections and city exploration. We did this through interviews. We then developed the app as a nostalgic, interactive experience, drawing on BKOR collection fonts and game-inspired aesthetics. We completed the project by designing an advertisement video to highlight the app’s features, and bring our concept to life.
